Day 5:
Met Fabian and Mark who invited me to join them as they chilled on the Rhein. As time progressed I met more people, heard more stories, and learned some Fußball.
Day 6:
It was a wonderful day for many reasons. First, because I finally got my cellphone fixed. Adding a new SIM card gave with some issues with Aldi Talk and Verizon but it all worked out. Second, due to the fact that I had to go downtown for my phone, I was able to make a day out of it and take pictures. It was a hot 90 degree day and just about no-one has Air Conditioning, but I got to explore the Altstadt of Koblenz.
Thanks to the friends I made, I had gotten a quick tour of the city. I really enjoyed this and it was interesting to hear the stories of the city, but I wanted to go by myself and be a cheesy tourist with a camera in hand (Those photos will be coming soon in later posts and will be uploaded in the gallery at that time). I wanted to take pictures on my own and there was a reason for it. Many people become so involved in taking pictures they lose sight of whats actually in front of them and don't take the time to enjoy their surroundings, or the people they are with. By being by myself you can choose where you want to go when, take time to read plaques, make a few circles, and do your thing. That way you don't have to worry who you are with and what they want to do. I was able to put the camera away on the fist tour of the city and now I can go back, and take photos.
Take time to enjoy your surroundings with your friends and take a few cheesy pictures. Then put the camera away. ;)

Day 7:
Full of fun on the Mosel river today. Reason it was fun? I was able to swim in the Mosel! Its was probably my first and last time, due to the cold front coming in. Either way, the day was filled with the entertainment of boats (of all sizes) on the Mosel, watching people grilling, and playing a hilarious nordic viking game called Kubb.
Day 8:
This week came to an end with a few rounds of Volleyball. A group of people always meet up and play at the rowing clubs court which they rent out. Even though they said it was their hobby, these people were pros and I got a workout.
More updates to come next week!
